When I'm not throwing down splines for the Lamp House, I'm working hard in the deep dark recesses of my basement on my personal project, a comic called Mojo. If the Wire ran into Angel and made sweet sweet love, it's kinda what you would get. If you like magic in a modern day setting, cement golems, street witchery and smart assed familiars, then you really should be reading this book. When you're a full time animator, a husband, and a father of two! Sometimes I ask myself, "What the hell am I doing?!" when it's 1 in the morning and I'm staring at a bright screen in a dark room. But those of you doing it already know the answer. If I had any control over it maybe I would be watching tv or playing x-box (or sleeping!). Hell I was a few months back. But once you get bitten by the creator bug, it becomes a compulsion. You can't stop. So for now, It's late night inking sessions and early morning dailies. It's fine, just keep the coffee coming.

I started a blog years ago called 365 Supers. It was an exercise in which I was supposed to draw an "original" super everyday for a year. It was supposed to be an exercise in creativity, work ethic and in some ways an exploration of style. I really wanted to get an idea of what was clicking with people and what wasn't.
Well I never finished. I still throw a couple of supers up every now but I think the height of 365 is well behind me. I'm posting it here 1) to share with a bigger audience and 2) because it's interesting to see how this exercise effected my work. A lot of this stuff is 2-3 years old now. I learned a lot from it. So enjoy this crazy dump, and please comment. I love getting feedback on my work.
